For the price you just can't beat this little oven. So far I have only used it for toast, and I will never go back to using a toaster. To me toasters dry out the bread and can burn it.

I find a toaster OVEN, Finish, baking the bread. I find that if you over toast the bread in the oven, the surface of the bread may look burnt and hard, but the center of the bread is soft and moist, where as if you burn the toast in a toaster, it is hard all the way through, and you might as well throw it away. What is also interesting is if you over toast the bread,in the oven, the surface of the bread has a sweet like taste.

I would certainly read the instructions, so you know how to line up the dials correctly, and you will get Fantastic Toast.

Hamilton Beach has been in business over 75 years, and still the same company, and stand by their products, most of my kitchen appliances are Hamilton Beach, and have held up very well. I can't wait to try the oven on other foods.

Simple does not heat! - Rita -
This over has a termostat that does not allow it to heat. After the first week that I bought it, I put it in the trash can. Piece of junk!
