  • You can prepare appetizing, nutritious meals at the speed of light with this new InfraWave Oven. Cooks up to 50% faster with no pre-heating. It uses infrared radiation to cook the food, allowing for faster cooking times more similar to microwaves than ovens. It has a 9" pizza capacity, a digital touch pad, a digital display and a slide out crumb tray. The especially unique aspects of the InfraWave are its ability to 'know' how to cook your food based on the settings you choose. It's energy efficient and toasts on the outside like an oven at the speed of a microwave. Ability to cook from frozen without the inconvenience of having to thaw. Amazing cooking tool. Has 52 digital pre-settings for one-touch ease. Includes two trays, a slide rack and a handle to pull the trays out. Dishwasher safe pan for added convenience, simple, and quick clean up.

  • We replaced an older model Black and Decker under-the-counter toaster oven. We are using this as a temporary oven during a kitchen remodel. Here are some features we liked: 1. It's significantly larger than the older model. As such, plan on this as countertop oven. 2. Very impressed with the wide variety of pre-programmed cooking options. A little bit of a learning curve to get used but after a few uses it will be easy. 3. A pull-out crumb tray (Yeah!!) 4. A special handle to remove the hot cooking tray is great. 4. Everything we have baked has come out evenly browned and in less time than a normal oven. We use it every day and have really enjoyed it!

Not quite a microwave, Not quite a toaster - G. Pulaski - New Jersey
Nice little piece of equipment, though it takes a while to get used to. We've cooked everything from waffles to chicken nuggets to pizza and I have to say it does a fine job. Cooks about twice as fast as a conventional toaster oven but it takes a little getting used to. There are no temperature settings just an interface to choose the type of food you are cooking. We have burnt a few things along the way but now have it pretty much figured out. The only complaint I might have is that it cooks much faster on the top than on the bottom so the food needs to flipped halfway thru.

Black & Decker Infrared Oven - Love it! - Margo J. Normoyle - Mt. Laurel, NJ
I used to have a Panasonic Infrared that was just terrific, it lasted about 8 years. So I just couldn't bring myself to get a regular toaster oven. When I found this Black & Decker, I tried to research it as best as possible prior to ordering it.
It is even better than the Panasonic. It has so many different features to choose from. You must at least read the manual as much as you can stand! It's important. I do think this is just wonderful and cooks chicken breasts juicy and tender in less time than an oven!

Quit working after about 10 uses. - catmom - Richland, WA USA
The oven arrived quickly and worked just great at first -- I was very happy with it; however, it just stopped working after about 10 uses. Nothing I can figure out to do has made it work again. I'm ready to pitch it in the garbage. A waste of money!

  • Salton/Toastmaster TCOV6R Toastmaster .98 Cu. Ft. Convection Oven Reviews By Customers
  • This is the perfect oven for me. I have to cook from a wheelchair. The door opens from the side so I don't have to reach over a hot door. The door also comes off easily for cleaning. The door coming off also makes the unit lighter to move around. This is the new model and has some improvements. My old one did not have a light or convection or rotisseri. I had my old one for 25 years and was very glad to find that Toastmaster still makes them. The new one has an extension in the back so you can use 12 inch round pans such as a pizza pan. I bake and broil everything in this oven. It works great. Of course it is too small for a very large turkey but you will be surpirsed what you can fit into it. It is very nice looking. The exterior is all stainless steel and very well made. I don't think you will be disappointed with this oven.

DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN!!! - David L. Brinson - Atlanta, GA
After broiling three buns for less than 5 minutes the door exploded. The oven had been off for about three minutes when the entire door shattered into a million pieces.

I found (searching the internet) that this has been a problem for years and they have done nothing to correct or to inform the consumer.

High Risk Purchase - Sybil C. Henry - Massachusetts USA
I bought this appliance last year and have had no problem with it. Until last night when I was broiling some Italian sausages, suddenly the door exploded sending red hot shards of glass all over my countertop, and bouncing off onto the floor. After most of the glass falls out the frame collapses into pieces. Two other reviews report the same problem, so I don't think I will even be bothering to try and find a replacement door. It's a hazardous product and I will NEVER buy anything from Toastmaster again. I noticed on the back of my oven that it was "made in China" Can we add this company to our ever growing list of garbage from China?????

Toaster went boom - J. Brown - Mississippi
First time it was used I was cooking a casserole. In about 15 minutes I heard a boom and the glass door had shattered into a thousand pieces all over the floor. The warranty division is sending a new one, but afraid to use it. Maybe I can make a door out of a piece of aluminum. Bad deal at any price.
